Born and raised in Aberdare, Wales. Educated at Blaengwawr Comprehensive and Cardiff University.

Established Gait Computer Company in 2008 and acts as Managing Director. The firm provides I.T. consultancy services to small and medium sized organizations in the U.K.

An avid fan of Formula One motor racing; Ben enjoys the cinema, and is a keen reader of subjects ranging from politics and history to science and economics.

Ben lives in Aberdare with his wife Sarah and their cat Tudor.
