Ben Gait was born and raised in Aberdare, Wales. Educated at Blaengwawr Comprehensive and Cardiff University.

Established Gait Computer Company in 2008 and acts as Managing Director. The firm develops Internet-based applications and services.

An avid fan of Formula One motor racing; Ben enjoys the cinema, and is a keen reader of subjects ranging from political biographies and history to science and economics.

Ben lives in Aberdare with his wife Sarah and their cat Tudor.
